About Learn to Learn OT

Learn to Learn is a private practice founded by paediatric occupational therapist, Sarah Seaford. Sarah specialises in supporting children's growth and development through tailored occupational therapy interventions. 

My mission is to create a safe space, whatever that may look like, and support young people and their families by translating theory into practical everyday solutions.

About sarah

Paediatric Occupational Therapist and Qualified Primary School Teacher registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of Occupational Therapy Australia (OTA). 


Sarah is a mobile-based service covering areas of Northwest Sydney and Hills District for children aged 2-10 years old. She has over 15 years' experience working with children in the classroom and in the early intervention space. She has worked across a variety of settings, including schools, not-for-profit organisations and private practice settings. 

Sarah is passionate about getting children ready to start school and giving them the skills to learn and thrive within the school setting. 


Sarah uses evidence-based therapy techniques in all her sessions to treat clients. She regularly participates in professional development courses and continuing education to ensure the best quality is provided.  To compliment her interest and expertise in early intervention, Sarah has completed training in: 


  • Developing Pretend Play Skills in Children – Advanced 
  • Occupational Performance Coaching: Coaching parents to enable children’s participation
  • DCD/Dyspraxia 
  • Learning to Conquer the Wees and Poos: Behavioural Management of Constipation/Encopresis and Urinary Incontinence in Children 
  • Alert Program 
  • Polyvagal Theory and Embodied Sensory-Motor-Relational Intervention 


Sarah lives with her husband and three spirited young boys. In her spare time, you will often find her at parks, going on bike rides or bush walks, baking in the kitchen or playing board games with her family.


Learn to Learn Occupational Therapy

Learn for Life occupational therapy provides essential support to help children prepare, learn, and thrive in the school environment. This approach focuses on developing crucial skills such as: 


- Sensory Processing Differences 

- Emotional Regulation Skills 

- Executive Functioning Skills 

- Gross Motor Skills 

- Fine Motor Skills 

- Handwriting Skills 

- Social Skills 

- Play Skills 

- Self-care Skills 


As part of the Learn for Life occupational therapy service, comprehensive assessments and reports are included, which may consist of: 


- Comprehensive Occupational Therapy Assessments 

- NDIS Assessments and NDIS Progress Reports 

- Functional Capacity Assessments 


Home/School session fee: 

$190 (60min session) + travel fee (to be confirmed). 

Sessions can be scheduled weekly or fortnightly based on the client's needs. 


Funding for sessions through Learn for Life occupational therapy can be accessed via: 

- NDIS - Self-managed and plan-managed NDIS clients only 

- Medicare - some Medicare plans accepted. 

- Self-funded 


Cost of Travel: 

Fees vary depending on your location. 

For more information about your schedule of supports (costs accrued), please refer to your individual service agreement and discuss with Sarah directly.
